Women’s Match Play Championship 2020 Entries Now Open

To enter please write your name on the Registration form posted on the Board in the Women’s Change Rooms.
Pay $20.00 entry fee at the shop.
There is a list to indicate you have paid your entry fee please ensure your name has been added by the Golf Shop employee.
After Registration you will be placed into Grades according to your handicap as of Thursday 3rd September, 2020.
This GA Handicap will be your handicap for the entire competition.
There are four Qualifying Rounds available to play in – Select two dates and indicate on the Registration form which dates you have chosen.
- Saturday 5th September
- Wednesday 9th September
- Saturday 12th September
- Monday 14th September.
On the selected days you will be seeded into a field of other players who have selected that date as their qualifying round.
This means you may not be playing in the time slot you have put your name in.
Check the website for your allocated tee time.
You will still pay and entry fee for the Day’s event and be eligible to win.
The Day’s Event is separate from the Championship Competition.
After the two Qualifying Rounds are completed and the scores added together you will play in the Semi Finals of the Match Play Event.
The Semi Final is on Wednesday 16th September.
You will play in your grade and all divisions will be played off the stick.
We will attempt to make it possible for everyone to play in the match play event.
There is a possibility that if your qualifying rounds are very bad that you may not gain a position in your grade.
In this competition a player is only able to qualify up if they are successful in making the Championship or the Plate divisions.
All players other than these divisions will play in their allocated Grade.
A player is unable to qualify into a lower grade.
If you are successful in the first semi-final round in the morning you will proceed to the afternoon to play the second semi-final round.
Come prepared to play 36 Holes of Golf or more as the game is not completed until there is a clear winner, extra holes may be required.
Bring your charger if you have an electric buggy.
For the Grades players are able to use a motorised buggy.
If successful in the afternoon you will proceed to the final which will be held on Wednesday 23rd September.
There is a dinner to follow which a wonderful night the cost of the meal is $35.00
A choice of Menu will be posted on the Board in the Change Rooms please tick preferred meal & dessert.
The tables are set in 8’s & 10’s
There will be a table setting sheet on the Board put your name in or make up a table of your friends.
We would love you to attend the presentation even if you are unable to play in the event.
