Pace of Play – Member Communication.
Published on 9th March 2021 in Members News, UncategorisedDear Members,
In the best interest for all players to ensure a good experience at our club we wish to remind all members of your responsibility with regard to pace of play.
Please ensure you keep up with the group in front (Not in-front of the group behind!)
The general guide is 2 hours per 9 holes, however, we encourage the 1st groups off in the AM or PM field to target 3hrs 45min as this will allow the last groups to be in under 4hrs 15min.
It is the low markers responsibility in the group to advise playing partners if playing slowly or to bring aware the pace of play.
Should you notice a group in front falling behind, please ensure to discuss with playing partners and agree on whether action should be taken or to approach the group. Please be aware there are many factors which can cause the loss of hole or circumstances that are often temporary. Please always be courteous and considerate in your approach and ensure you follow the clubs code of conduct at all times.
Good golfing.
