Captain’s Report – 22 March 2017

• I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for volunteering to join the Committee this year.  I believe we have a strong and enthusiastic Committee and I look forward to working with you all during the course of the year.
• 2017 has got off to a great start with 87 people playing in the 4BBB Opening day, Sponsored by Shani Waugh Golf School!  Numbers were encouraging in today’s field, even though we had a few late withdrawals!
• The groundsmen have been doing a lot of work on the course over summer and the results speak for themselves, with the course looking fantastic!
• The pennant co-ordinators have been working on finalising our pennant teams and we look forward to acknowledging them and wishing them all the best for 2017. I believe we might have a number of new Ladies joining the teams this year, which is wonderful. Thank you to Del MacNeill and Maureen Myers for co-ordinating the Pennant teams this year.!
• Fixture books are being edited at the moment and we expect them to go to print soon.
