Bar Update – May

Published on 4th May 2023 in Members News

The colder weather is approaching, the days are becoming shorter but The Clubhouse is still here to warm you up after a wet and windy round on the course (or walk from the car 😉).

Starting soon our fire will be roaring all day to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for all of our members and visitors.

We are undergoing slow and steady changes on our wine list. The first of which will see our Dragonfly Cabernet Sauvignon replaced by SOLI Cabernet Sauvignon from Churchview Estate. The same grape variety but different tasting notes. Make sure to see Ross behind the bar for run down on the differences and enjoying a nice large glass by our fireplace overlooking the 18th green. Another new addition from Churchview Estate is their coveted SOLI Chardonnay. Both are welcomed in The Clubhouse to give our guests a new drop to try.

Other notable additions have included Bearded Lady Bourbon and Cola 5%, ideal for the “casual” golfer or one Mr Danny Ennor haha. I will endeavor to find some interesting new stouts for our beer loving guests to taste during the colder months; as well as being perfect brandy weather!!

All in all its been another great month in The Clubhouse with live music featuring Steve Spouse, ZAI and Jack Irish. Make sure to book a table early to secure your spot on a Friday night!
