Pelase see below an update on our major capital projects currently in progress.
1 Entrance Road.
Planning has nearly been completed on the upgrade of our driveway. The works will be undertaken by Jak Civil in conjunction with club and volunteer assistance. The works will be completed in two stages, the first 100m flat bit from the road then the uphill half. The driveway will be lined and widened from 4m to 6m.
Some preliminary vegetation works and water service relocation needs to be done prior to the actual commencement.
It is anticipated work on the driveway will commence around September after the winter rains. Please note that there will be some inconvenience to patrons accessing the course but all efforts will be made to minimise these problems.
2 Course Irrigation Pumps
The 3 pumps, filters, and pump shed are being replaced adjacent to the 8th fairway. This work was scheduled to commence on 21st June, however a delay in obtaining a part and then the Covid lockdown meant this start date couldn’t be met. As soon as possible this project will commence.
There will be some disruption of play with the 8th hole to be closed for approx 3-5 days max (All players will receive a Net Par or 2 stableford points)
