BGC By-Laws Amended

The Club By-Laws have been amended and adopted by a resolution of the Board in accordance with rule 16 of the Constitution.

Amendments
3.2.4 Intermediate sub-category name changed to Lifestyle
3.2.5 Intermediate B sub-category name changed to Introductory
3.2.15 Social + 9 hole sub-category name changed to 9 Hole
4.1.5 Updated maximum carts per group to “Two hired motorised carts” (Note: this excludes Members private carts and is in reference to club hire carts only)
5.2 Dress Code Preamble updated – Bunbury Golf Club is a multi-purpose facility. The Club hosts a variety of functions for members and non-members, as well as day to day golfing groups. Members and visitors are required to maintain a standard of dress considered to be in keeping in both style and neatness with the character and standing of the Bunbury Golf Club. Caddies should also comply with these requirements.
In special circumstances these dress rules may be relaxed at the discretion of the General Manager, President or Captain.
The General Manager or the Duty Manager shall bring to the attention the dress code to persons not suitably dressed and may refuse them entry to the Clubhouse. The General Manager, Golf Shop Assistants or the Starter shall bring to the attention the dress code to persons not suitably attired for golf and have the right to refuse persons, not suitably dressed, the use of the course.
