President’s notes
Published on 6th April 2020 in Members NewsAfter a couple of weeks of hectic changes, things have settled down and we are now progressing down a steady path. I thank all members for following the regulations that have been imposed on us and continuing to play social games in good numbers. We are confident that the club will ride out this storm without a large financial loss. It will be essential that members keep strongly behind us, valuing their memberships, & those with direct debit commitments, keeping them in place. On a progressive side, the Board have given approval to Grounds to re-visit the sixth green & do a complete re-build whilst our competitions are on hold. Staffing reductions have now been finalised with Des & Craig sharing the Pro Shop hours after Tracey volunteered to stand aside saving the club significant wages. Hopefully some form of competition golf can commence in the not to distant future as this & pro shop sales are the only means of income to keep the books balanced. Happy golfing.
