Women’s President Report – 14 June 2017

Thank you very much to those of you that were able to commit your time to help make this year’s Nexus Risk SW Open a success. The players were full of praise for all the members that volunteered their time. We are now considered to be the friendliest club by them!! All members were helpful, friendly and smiling.

Now we will be turning our thoughts to our open day and Bowl in August. Getting food organised, costings and looking at the entry form.

We are organising a group to polish the trophies and clean the glass in the trophy cabinet next month.

I expressed our desire to have new floor tiles in our main shower area and it has been agreed upon in principle. We shall continue our fund raising efforts to put towards the cost.

We have organised volunteers to take Shani’s graduating beginner golfers out on the course for $10. Since then our DOM, Mandi, has signed quite a few of them up with trial memberships as it works out better financially.

And finally, in anticipation of the renovations started, the Wednesday committee has packed up our storage areas.
