Vale Mary Murray

It is with regret to advise the passing of Mary Murray at the age of 94.

Mary was a member of the club for an amazing 61 years having joined on the 6th January 1964.

Mary and her husband Jim joined the club on the same day and were both seen playing together up until the end with their most recent only several weeks ago.

Mary was Women’s Captain in 1978 and 1979, Women’s President in 1981 and 1982. Mary won three Women’s Foursomes title and had two Holes In One at the club.

Mary loved her golf and the club and will be deeply missed by so many having created and shared so many memories over the 61 years as a member.

Our thoughts are with her husband Jim, their children and their families.
