Terry Veale Shield 2024/25

 

Following some confusion on dates and details on the 2024/25 terry Veale Shield the following can now be confirmed ;

• The format of the shield will be as per  recent years as  a Combined stableford  competition with teams of two to be  nominated through the pro shop.
• There will be 5 qualifying rounds with the two best combined scores of the two players on the same qualifying rounds to be calculated.

Note:    With the exception of the combined stableford event it is not essential to play in the same group as your partner

The  top 8 teams will be computed and  will then compete in a knockout match play format.

The dates of the 5 qualifying rounds are as follows – (with the best two combined scores on the same qualifying round to be calculated)

3/10   – Completed

17/10

31/10   – As a combined stableford event it will be a requirement to play with your partner in this event

14/11

28/11

  The Playoffs dates are yet to be confirmed but will be December and early 2025

 

The Terry Veale Cup is an important and  prestigious event on the scroungers calender and always provides great comraderie, memories and humour.

There is no cost to be involved so if not yet registered, call a mate and have a go to become part of a great event.
